Fiverr affiliate program: commission and payment
Yes, sellers can join the Fiverr affiliate program, and it pays for something different from your gigs: bringing Fiverr a first-time buyer. Fiverr's partnerships pages state that every seller is welcome, that you should sign up with the same email as your seller account, and that commission starts only when a referred first-time buyer places their first-ever order.
Everything below comes from Fiverr's published affiliate pages, checked October 2026: the two commission plans, the 30-day tracking cookie, the $100 balance threshold, and the monthly net-30 payment cycles with their two review windows.
Free plan available. Local-first data. Human review on every change.

A separate program with its own rules
The affiliate program pays you for bringing Fiverr new buyers; your gigs pay you for doing the work. They have separate accounts, dashboards, and balances, so a commission never shows up on your Earnings page or in your Statement of Earnings. If you already keep a monthly seller sheet, add a second column for partner earnings instead of merging them.
Fiverr's partnerships help center says everyone is welcome to join, adds that every Fiverr seller is invited, and asks you to use the same email address as your seller account. The application is reviewed before you get credentials, and the affiliate agreement gives Fiverr sole discretion to approve or reject enrollment.
- Seller income: completed orders, a clearance period, and your payout method.
- Affiliate income: a partner balance, a $100 threshold, and a manual request.
- Keep the two records apart so nothing gets counted twice.
The two commission plans, as published
Fiverr's commission plans article, updated September 3, 2026, says commissions are paid only when new buyers — first-time buyers, or FTBs — place their first-ever order, and that commissions cover purchases only, not clicks or registrations.
Two plans are listed. Fiverr Marketplace pays a CPA calculated as 25% of the first-time buyer's amount plus a 10% revenue share of all other orders for 12 months, and Logo Maker pays a $30 fixed CPA plus the same 10% share for 12 months. Both lines were present on the page when it was checked in October 2026.
| Plan | First-time buyer | Next 12 months |
|---|---|---|
| Fiverr Marketplace | 25% of the first-order amount | 10% revenue share |
| Logo Maker | $30 fixed CPA | 10% revenue share |
| Clicks or registrations | No commission | No commission |
How links and the 30-day window work
Fiverr publishes the shape of a standard link: a go.fiverr.com address carrying your affiliate ID and a brand parameter. Its pages also tell you to take links and HTML codes from the Marketing Tools section of the dashboard rather than rebuilding them yourself.
Fiverr's affiliate links article states that your link includes a 30-day tracking cookie: a user who clicks and then registers on Fiverr within 30 days is attributed to you, and the commission follows once they make their first purchase. The landing page adds that buyers who click and register are assigned to your account.

Getting paid: threshold, invoice, cycles
The affiliates page states that once your account reaches $100 you can claim a payment, and until then your earnings stay in your balance. You issue the request from the affiliate dashboard, and requests open at the beginning of the following month, from the 2nd.
Fiverr pays commissions on a net-30 basis after checking orders for fraudulent activity and terms-of-service violations. Its payment article describes two review cycles, and the landing page gives the matching example: invoices for January are paid on March 1st or 2nd.
Payment details live under Account Details, then Payment Details: method, currency, address, and account type. Fiverr's payment-details article says it currently offers only bank wire transfers, asks for proof of your bank account on the first wire request, and warns that a missing required field blocks the request until it is filled in.

Realistic promotion and disclosure
Because commission requires a first-ever buyer, traffic that only produces clicks, returning buyers, or existing accounts pays nothing. Fiverr lists a wide set of promotion surfaces — blogs and websites, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, emails, and podcasts — and the Reddit and LinkedIn playbook covers two of them in depth. The audience list on the affiliates page — content creators, digital entrepreneurs, solution providers, online educators, marketers, and agencies — is a better fit check than follower count.
Illustrative example: a reader clicks your link in October, registers that same week, and places their first order in November. Registration inside the 30 days is what assigned them to you, the November first order triggers the 25% commission, and any further orders in the following 12 months carry the 10% share.
- Disclose the connection: in the US, the FTC requires endorsements to reveal a material relationship clearly and conspicuously.
- The mistake sellers make is treating affiliate links like gig promotion: an audience that already knows you rarely contains first-time Fiverr buyers.
- Always use your unique link; a rebuilt or shared link can lose the attribution.
How it differs from referral credits
Three programs get confused. The affiliate program pays partners cash commissions. Fiverr's referral program invites new people to join as clients with a first-order discount and credits based on that order, while the freelancer referral program pays you Fiverr Credits when a client completes an order with a freelancer you recommended.
The help center draws the line the same way: freelancer referrals are for recommending active freelancers to your existing clients, while the referral program is for inviting new clients. Credits are not cash and cannot be withdrawn or refunded, whereas affiliate commissions reach your bank account after the threshold and review cycle. Keep the three on separate lines in your own records.
| Program | Who receives the reward | What it pays |
|---|---|---|
| Affiliate program | Partners promoting Fiverr | Cash, after a $100 threshold |
| Friend referral | Existing users inviting clients | Fiverr Credits and a discount |
| Freelancer referral | Sellers recommending freelancers | 2.5% credits, valid 90 days |
Where Seller OS helps
Promotion is easier to sustain when your own numbers are visible. Seller OS keeps reports and a short action queue, reviews live gig copy through the Gig Performance Optimizer, and tracks keywords and rank history, so you can see whether the audience you send is producing orders at all.
It drafts and fills; a person performs every final Send, Save, Continue, or Publish action. Seller OS does not create affiliate links, read your affiliate dashboard, track commissions, or move money — it works on your seller side only.

Fiverr Affiliate Program questions
How much does the Fiverr affiliate program pay?
Fiverr's commission plans article, updated September 2026, lists two plans. Fiverr Marketplace pays 25% of a first-time buyer's order plus a 10% revenue share on that buyer's other orders for 12 months. Logo Maker pays a fixed $30 for the first order plus the same 10% share.
How do Fiverr affiliates get paid?
Commissions are paid once a month on a net-30 basis. Your balance has to reach $100 before you can request a payment, and requests are reviewed in two windows each month: the 2nd to the 15th, and the 16th to the end of the month, with payment following the cycle.
How long does an affiliate click stay attributed?
Fiverr's links article says your link carries a 30-day tracking cookie. A visitor who clicks and registers on Fiverr within those 30 days is attributed to you, and the commission is earned when that person makes their first-ever purchase. Use the link you copy from Marketing Tools.
Can Fiverr sellers join the affiliate program?
Yes. Fiverr's partnerships pages say every seller is welcome and ask you to sign up with the same email address as your seller account. The application is reviewed before you get login credentials, and affiliate income stays separate from your seller Earnings page.
